This is a synopsis for Custom Designed, Ruggedized, MIL-STD-901D Grade A Qualified Heavy Duty Racks and Mini Electro Optics Racks, components of the Shipboard Protection System (SPS.) for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for: CLIN 0001-3 Each Custom Designed Cabinet Assembly / Electronic Enclosure, CABINET ASSEMBLY M/D 45"H X 36"- EMI. CLIN 0002- 4 Each FY 11 Options. CLIN 0003- 2 Each FY 12 Options.CLIN-0004 -2 Each Custom Designed, Cabinet Assembly / Electronic Enclosure CABINET ASSEMBLY M/D 26" HIGH. CLIN 0005 -8 Each-FY 11 Options. CLIN 0006- 4 Each-FY 12 Options. This solicitation will be issued on a sole source basis to A&J Manufacturing Company 14831 Franklin Ave Tustin CA 92780-7006. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database. CLIN 0001-3 Each, CLIN 0004- 2 Each, requires delivery 90 days after contract award. The first delivery is scheduled for 15 July 2010. Delivery required F.O.B. Destination: NSWC-CD, 300 Highway 361, Crane IN 47522-5001. DPAS rating is DO-A70. Interested parties contact the POC below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
