Refurbish Truck Boxes

The following requirement is for the Department of National
Defence at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown in Oromocto, New
Brunswick.

Refurbish two (2) Western Star salt/sand plow truck boxes and
attachments.
Truck boxes will be delivered to vendors.
All work must be completed no later than 30 March 2010.

Contractor to complete repairs to each truck as follows:

1. Sand-blast box;

2. Paint to be 3 parts, Inorganic Zinc primer, high build
multi-purpose Epoxy & Aliphatic Urethane as used
on N.B. Provincial vehicles;

3. Replace chain tray, lower guides & chain;

4. New pillow block bearings @ each end of chain tray;

5. Replace chain tensioner X 2;

6. Replace both rear corners of box (tailgate support);

7. Replace all steel lines going to spreader & hydraulic
cylinders;

8. Replace all flex hydraulic hoses on all attachments;

9. Repack 4 hydraulic cylinders (3 for box & 1 hoist);

10. Repair all damaged areas of box after sandblasting
(contractor to confirm required repairs prior
to commencement of work).
Delivery Date: 30/03/2010

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
