Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

Work under this contract consists of the reconstruction of
approximately 8.5 km of roadway, construction of adjacent
parallel multi use trail, construction of 2 parking lots and 3
look out parking lots. Work includes removal of asphalt,
excavation, placement of borrow, aggregate and paving surfaces.
Additional work includes removal of gravel, placement of topsoil
and seeding, concrete curbs, paving stones, installations of
drainage pipes and guard rail.
Work is located at the National Park in Cavendish, Queens
County, PEI, .

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.036585.001 forming
part of the bid document.
The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost
category: $5 Million to $10 Million.

Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda,
when issued, will be available from the MERX provider. Firms
that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from
other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
intention to bid.

Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the MERX
electronic bulletin board as part of the information module.
