B&W Y-12, L.L.C., (hereafter know as "Y-12"; for additional company information go to www.y12.doe.gov), acting under its Prime Contract No. DE-AC05-00OR22800 with the United States Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA), is soliciting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for civil site preparation. This scope includes excavation, hauling and compacting approximately 750,000 cubic yards of soil. Work includes grading, storm drains, sediment ponds, clearing and construction of an approximately 3,200 LF earth and gravel haul road. Work includes placement of approximately 6,000 cubic yards of lean concrete for a mud mat and approximately 110,000 cubic yards of mass fill concrete. Additionally, work involves erosion controls, installation of pre-cast concrete head walls and end walls as well as spill way structures. Works includes removal of approximately 90,000 square yards of asphalt paving from roads and parking by means of asphalt cold planner, load and haul asphalt removed to within five (5) miles of removal site.
