THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0360 on or about March 23, 2010, for the RECOVERY UMA Forest-Wide Toilet Site Development #2 project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after March 23, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. Work shall include, but is not limited to, site clearing, grubbing, excavation, fill, toilet installation, access improvements, ADA walkways, and historic rock fireplace reconstruction. This work will occur across the entire Umatilla National Forest. Project sites are located in both Oregon and Washington. The intent of this contract is to provide for the complete project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. The Government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. PARTICIPATION. This project is being advertised under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (Full and Open Competition).
