The US Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division (NCD), on behalf of Joint Program Executive Office-Chemical and Biological Defense, Joint Project Manager Individual Protection, intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a Chemical Biological Flame Resistant (CB FR) Glove. The procurement will utilize Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Government anticipates issuance of a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for CB FR Gloves with a 12 month warranty. The anticipated initial delivery order will be for 500 pair of CB FR Gloves. The anticipated guaranteed minimum quantity is 500 pair of CB FR Gloves. The anticipated maximum quantity is 200,000 pair of CB FR Gloves. It is anticipated that this procurement will be Full and Open competition. However, the Government reserves the right to change the solicitation procedure. The Government envisions awarding a single contract. However, the Government reserves the right to issue more than one contract, or none. If more than one contract is awarded the requirements will be divided (ratio to be determined) among successful offerors. The applicable NAICS Code is 315992 with a size standard of 500 employees.
