SYNOPSIS RECOVERY � Repair of Boardwalks and Decks on Lake Eaton Trails, Ocala National Forest in Florida. The solicitation is issued as a request for Proposals. Submit written Proposals in accordance with RFP Number AG-4419-S-10-0474. The solicitation and drawings will be posted on this website on or near March 12, 2010. This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted, advertised for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 238990. The Request for Proposal is issued for the following services. The Contractor shall provide the material, equipment and all services required to repair boardwalks at Lake Eaton Sinkhole, Lake Eaton Loop Trails A, B and C. Work includes but not limited to: the replacement of pressure treated deck sections, replacement of rails and handrails, replacement of columns and placement of concrete. All services are to be performed in accordance with the drawings, drawing notes, the Schedule of Items and the terms and conditions of the Request for Proposal. A detailed description of the requirement is on the drawings. Government estimate range is $100,000 to $250,000. A site visit is scheduled for 1:00 PM. March 23, 2010 at the project location. From Ocala, FL go east on Hwy. 40 for approximately 16 miles to the intersection of CR 314A, turn left (north) and to approximately 4.5 miles to Forest Service Road 44, turn right (east) and go about 1 mile to the intersection of Lake Eaton Road (Forest Service Road 05). Project is located 1.5 miles at Lake Eaton Sink Hole Trail. Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance: Ocala National Forest, Marion County, Florida. Period of Performance is 120 calendar days after the date of award. This solicitation is issued under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and all requirements of the Act apply including the requirement to register and report at www.federalreporting.gov. The appropriate clauses are included in the RFP. Proposals are required to be received in the contracting office no later than 4:30 P.M. EST on April 13, 2010.
