INVITATION TO BID

KAPALONG TOWN SQUARE DEVELOPMENT

1. The Local Government Unit oif Kapalong Davao del Norte, through the Land Bank of the Philippines Loan -CY 2009 intends to apply the sum of Eighteen Million Eight Hundred Six Thousand Two Hundred Fourteen Pesos Only (Php 18,806,214.00) being the Approved budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Kapalong Town Square Development. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening.

2. The Local Government Unit of Kapalong, Davao del Norte now invites bids for Kapalong Town Square Development. Completion of the Works is required 229 calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within ten(10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II Instruction to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the " Government procurement Reform Act"

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Local Government Unit of Kapalong, Davao del Norte and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hour 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of :

- Accreditation Fee P 1,200.00
- Bid Document (Contract) 500.00
- Plan 300.00

6. The Local Government Unit of Kapalong, Davao del Norte will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on March 10, 2010at 10:00 a.m. at the CDIC Building Municipal Compound, Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte which shall be open to all interested parties.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before March 22, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the CDIC Building Municipal Compound, Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount in ITB Clause 18.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

8. Submission of the Letter of Intent(LOI) on or before March 08, 2010 during office hour 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. bid Security of 2% of ABC (Php 376,124.28) either in cash, cashier's/manager's check, bank draft/guarantee confirmed by a Universal or Commercial Bank.

9. The Municipal Government of Kapalong, Davao del Norte reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, and to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring liability to the affected bidder or bidders or any obligation to inform the affected bidder or bidders of the grounds for the Employer's action.
