SUBJECT ACQUISITION IS FOR 230 EA OF NSN 8475-00-657-3557 (PAD SUPPORT, LUMBAR).  THIS ITEM IS TO BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DRAWINGS NO. 58F5380, REV. D DATED 03 DEC 1973.  FOB DESTINATION.  INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE AT ORIGIN.  FIRST ARTICLE TESTING IS REQUIRED.  PRODUCTION LEAD TIME IS 240 DAYS AT A RATE OF 230 EA PER MONTH, WHICH INCLUDES 30 DAYS TO SUBMIT FAT SAMPLES, 30 DAYS FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO REVEIW THE FAT SAMPLES, AND 180 DAYS FOR PRODUCTION. 

THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS.
