II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Three Valleys
is one of the largest housing associations in Derbyshire. We manage over 5
200 houses, flats, bungalows and bedsits across the Erewash area. Erewash
is situated between the cities of Derby and Nottingham.
Three Valleys Housing are tendering for a single contractor to undertake
Asbestos Removal, Encapsulation, Disposal and Re-instatement works on
properties owned by Three Valleys Housing. Companies should be licensed by
the HSE to remove, transport and dispose of asbestos in accordance with
the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.
Work will be in domestic properties and applicants should be able to
provide a fast reacting service to meet the requirements of the Three
Valleys Housing service provision. Contractors should be competent to
carry out reinstatement works following any removals undertaken.
