THE WORK FOR THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF DEMOLTION OF 35 VAULT TOILETS AT 19 RECREATION SITE LOCATIONS IN THE COLUMBINE AND PAGOSA RANGER DISTRICTS OF THE SAN JUAN NATIONAL FOREST; BACKFILL OF ALL EXCAVATION, CAPPING OF TWO WATER LINES AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE PAD AT ONE TOILET DEMOLITION SITE. THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN THE COLUMBINE AND PAGOSA RANGER DISTRICTS OF THE SAN JUAN NATIONAL FOREST NEAR THE TOWNS OF DURANGO, BAYFIELD AND PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO. THERE IS NOT A PREBID CONFERENCE SCHEUDULED FOR THIS EFFORT. The project cost estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//. THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE INCLUDED ALL SPECIFICATION AND MAPS IS SCHEDULED TO BE POSTED ON 16 MARCH 2010.
