The Commonwealth, represented by and acting through the Department of the Treasury, invites Tenders for the provision of transactional banking and corporate credit card services, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Request for Tender.  The Services form two separate parts, viz. transactional banking services and corporate credit card services. Tenderers may respond to either one or both parts. 

The Conditions for Participation applicable to the RFT process are that the Tenderer and its subcontractors:

(a)           must not be named as not complying with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cth);

(b)          must not have any unpaid claims in respect of judicial decisions (other than decisions subject to appeal) made against the Tenderer or its subcontractors relating to employee entitlements; and

(c)           must meet and comply with the Commonwealth's Core Banking Protocols when submitting Tenders for Transactional Banking Services.

The initial term of the contract will be from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2013.
