The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of the Philippine Science High School - Central Visayas Campus (PSHS-CVisC), invites agencies/potential bidders to apply for eligibility and to bid for the aforementioned project to wit:

Construction of Phase II of Sports Complex Php 8, 461, 800.00 Five (5) Months Php 8, 000.00

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding and have key personnel and equipment (owned, leased or under purchase) available for the prosecution of the project. The list of minimum equipment requirement is indicated in the Eligibility forms. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conferences, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. No. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

1. Advertisement February 27 - March 5, 2010
2. Issuance of Bid Documents March 8 - 12, 2010
3. Pre-bid Conference March 12, 2010 @ 1:00 - 3:00 PM (for Phase II of Sports Complex)
4. Submission of Bids March 29, 2010 @ 11:00AM. Must be dropped in designated drop box at PSHS-CVisC
5. Opening of Bids March 29, 2010 @ 1:00 - 3:00 PM (for Phase II of Sports Complex)
6. Bid Evaluation/Recommendation
Of Award/Post-qualification March 30, 2010 @ 8:00 AM

Bid documents will be available at the BAC Secretariat, only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount stated above to the PSHS-CVisC Cashier, Talaytay, Argao, Cebu.

The PSHS-CVisC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid. Moreover, the PSHS-CVisC BAC reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals at anytime prior to contract award, waive any formality in the bid requirements, declare the bidding a failure, or award the contract to the bidder whose offer is the most responsive, lowest calculated bid, and most advantageous to the government.
