RECOVERY-Canaan Mountain Fencing-LXCAP0920000. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation needed to install 7.9 miles of new barbed-wire fence with five gates with walk-overs at selected locations. Work is located in Washington County, Utah. No site visit scheduled. For further information on project site please contact Lynne Scott at (435) 688-3265 or lynne_scott@blm.gov. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238990, with a size standard of $14.0M. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 60 calendar days, estimated to begin immediately following contract award. This procurement shall be set aside for Total Small Business. Competition limited to eligible Small Business concerns. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net on or about March 11, 2010. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall register and download from FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net).
