II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the
improvement of policy cooperation in education and training in Europe
through the creation of an advisory network of experts working on social
aspects of this field. This network will advise and support the European
Commission in the analysis of education policies and reforms and of their
implications at national, regional and European level mainly (but not
exclusively) from a sociological perspective. The network is expected to
support European level policy-making with state-of-the-art knowledge and
expertise on a wide range of issues in education and training policy and
practice. This support will include the identification of the most
relevant evidence from both qualitative and quantitative research. The
network will also contribute to the dissemination of knowledge on social
aspects of education and training.
Estimated cost excluding VAT:
Range: between 225 000 and 250 000 EUR.
