This is a Presolicitation Notice for the following: RECOVERY - Septic Tank Systems for Warner & Bumgardner Houses SLBE 9544 TAS::14 - 1041 Procurement is 100% set aside for Emerging Small Business Concerns ($7million sales last 3 years). The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) Code: 238910 "Site Preparation Contractors" The Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 million / Emerging Small Business Size Standard is $7 million In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of the requirement for this contract is between Less than $25,000.00 The Solicitation Number for this Project is N6620100029. The US Department of the Interior, the National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office is soliciting proposals from Small Businesses for a firm-fixed-price construction contract to provide all labor, supplies, equipment and material necessary to demolish and remove one (1) 1,200 gal existing septic tank and wastewater drain field and installation of two (2) new septic tank one (10 1,200 double at Warner House, one (1) 1,200 double and one 500 gallon pump chamber at Bumgardner House and two (2) absorption beds (leach fields) at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Glenn Haven, MI. This requirement is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). In accordance with contract clause 52.204-11 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Reporting Requirements, the contractor is required to register in FederalReporting.gov and report certain information as required by the clause. Reports shall be submitted during the first 10 days after the end of each calendar quarter. A Site Visit will be scheduled for all interested and qualified parties with the time and date to be announced in the Solicitation. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about March 8, 2010 at the following website: www/fedbizopps.gov. All Amendments will also be posted to this website. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following the date of posting of the Solicitation unless extended. It is anticipated that the work will not start until early to mid May. Once posted, the solicitation can be accessed through www.fbo.gov by searching for the Solicitation Number "N6620100029", and then clicking on the link to the IDEAS-EC website. After clicking on the link that takes you to the IDEAS-EC website, click on the "Clauses and Attachments" link in the small blue box to access and download at the project Specifications, Wage Determination, Clauses and Provisions, Bid Schedule and other supporting documents. Individual requests for Solicitation packages will NOT be accepted and no packages are available in hard copy. Responses from Officers' will be accepted in hard copy format only, at the address of the point of contact stated in the Solicitation. All offers must be received by the due date and time stated in the Solicitation. This Announcement does not constitute the Solicitation.
