NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Facilities Construction,Engineering, and Technical Services at National Aeronautics and Space Administration'sGoddard Space Flight Center located in Greenbelt, Maryland.The government anticipates awarding a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ) contract. This is the same procurement previously referenced in Sources SoughtNotice NNG10300172L.The anticipated maximum ordering value for the contract will be $85M. The order ofmagnitude for this procurement will be established on an individual task order basis.This procurement will be a full and open competition.The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 236220 and$33.5M, respectively.The anticipated release date of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is on or aboutMarch 15, 2010. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about May 14, 2010 withan anticipated offer closing date of on or about June 14, 2010. The anticipated awarddate is on or about February 23, 2011.The firm date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the RFP.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Facilities Construction,Engineering and Technical Services (FaCETS), solicitation No. NNG10300172R, which wasposted on February 23, 2010 (and the associated Draft RFP posted on April 23, 2010). Youare notified that the following change is made:(i) The date of the scheduled Industry Day is changed from May 12, 2010 to May 13, 2010at 10:00 a.m. All other information pertaining to the Industry Day contained in theDraft RFP Cover Letter and in solicitation provision L.14 paragraph (i) remains the same.The following additional information is also hereby provided:The Industry Day will commence with an introductory meeting at the GSFC Visitor Center(10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.), to be followed by a viewing of the Government facilities andproperty that will be provided for use under the contract (10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon).The due date for comments or questions regarding the Draft RFP remains May 19, 2010.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
