NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Construction Services atNational Aeronautics and Space Administration's Goddard Space Flight Center located inGreenbelt, MD. The government anticipates awarding a Multiple Award Fixed Price Indefinite DeliveryIndefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The anticipated maximum ordering value for theMultiple Award Construction (MAC) contract will be $75M. The order of magnitude for this procurement will be established on an individual deliveryorder basis.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement is 236220 and $33.5Mrespectively. The anticipated release date of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is on or aboutMarch 10, 2010. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about May 4, 2010 withan anticipated offer closing date of on or about June 9, 2010. The anticipated award dateis on or about February 25, 2011. The firm date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available overthe Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. The anticipated maximum ordering value for the MACcontracts will be $75M cumulatively. The effective ordering period will be 5 years fromdate of award. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application.
