Expressions of interest

The Government of the Republic of Rwanda has recieved financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second Rural Sector Support Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services.

The services include supervision of construction works for Kibaya upper marshland (103 ha) including a dam and canals, Kinnyogo II marshland (150 ha) canals and Gisaya (88 ha) canals all located in Eastern Province.

The Second Rural Sector Support Project now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (published by the bank in May 2004 revised in October 2006).

Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours [0500GMT to 1300GMT or 700hrs to 1500hrs local time].

Note: Companies that submitted their expressions of interest can resubmit them again and electronic copies are accepted.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 17th March, 2010 before 1300GMT or 1500hrs local time.
