The COMPANY’S intention is to enter into Global Business Alliances (Long
term Supply Agreements) with CONTRACTORS for the
Supply of Onshore and
Offshore Asset Chemical, namely, Triethylene Glycol (TEG)
, for a period of
Four (4) years with optional extension period of one (1) year.
The scope of specifications outlined in this and subsequent sections shall be to
provide a technically superior, cost-effective Supply Agreement, adding “value”
to the Supply Chain and Logistics management for both parties.
CONTRACTOR shall provide materials and resources necessary to
successfully complete the Scope of Work / Services described below in
accordance with all applicable Technical Specifications, Quality Services,
Quality Control and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
CONTRACTOR shall provide a local point of contact for the COMPANY
Chemical requirements and related matters for offshore platforms and
onshore production facilities and the local point of contact shall perform an
advisory role in liaising with the relevant COMPANY Onshore, Offshore and
Laboratory personnel.
The Agreement shall cover the full range of services required to supply and
deliver the goods safely and expediently to COMPANY site in Ras Laffan
Industrial City and other destinations as directed within the State of Qatar.
As part of the CONTRACTOR support and services for this Supply
Agreement, CONTRACTOR personnel shall be made available to provide and
support all COMPANY requested services during this period on a Twenty-
Four (24) hour, Seven (7) day week (24/7) work basis.
The scope of supply and product specification are defined in Attachment “A”
Attachment “A” titled "SAP Ref No: 6000229578" and within this section, the
quantities provided in document section 2.5 titled “Delivery Schedule" are the
COMPANY’S best estimate for the Chemicals based upon current production
capacity.
This information provides the TENDERER with an indication of anticipated
volume of business over the agreement period.
