II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Gedling Homes
is a housing association providing approxiamately 3 400 units of housing
stock within the Gedling Borough of Nottingham. It is seeking suitably
experienced Contractors to undertake its Responsive Maintenance, Gas
Servicing and Void repair works contract including:
Responsive maintenance.
Voids.
Gas Servicing (breakdown and Repairs) to individual properties and
communal heating systems.
Landlord stair lighting.
Programmable repairs such as gutter clearance, fencing, painting, gully
clearing and other minor repairs projects.
Provision for external programmed works.
Servicing of door entry systems.
Electrical Testing.
Miscellaneous Service Contracts.
Responsive Maintenanace, Gas Servicing and Void repairs work outlined
above will be based on the ACA TPC contract and will last for three years
with the possible extension of up to a further two years depending on
performance. It is envisaged that one contractor will be appointed to
manage all of the repair maintenance and servicing works.
The contracting Authority are seeking expressions of interest from
suitably qualified and experienced organisations to work as strategic
partners with the contrating Authority, their consultants and other
contractor partners in order to deliver the contract.
