6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: Technical service should assist the executing
agency — Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) in the implementation of the
project 'water loss reduction in Zarqa'. Tasks foreseen:
1. administrative, preparatory and ancillary tasks relating to planning,
monitoring, reporting on project, procurement, and financial management;
and
2. technical expertise tasks: technical studies, preparation of tender
documents and assistance in tendering procedures, supervision of works,
transfer of know-how to WAJ staff, and implementation of communication and
visibility activities for the project.
8. Indicative budget: 1 100 000 EUR.
