The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is finalizing the Acquisition Strategy for a series of contracts for IT Management, Data Center, Distributive Computing, Enterprise Network, Application Management, IT Production and Specialty Services in support of the SOF Information Enterprise. The services are currently acquired under USSOCOM's Enterprise Information Technology Contract (EITC) and Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) Contract. Both contracts will be completed by 31 March 2011. To facilitate Government and Industry planning, USSOCOM will host the SITEC Industry Day at the Doubletree Hotel, 4500 W. Cypress Street, Tampa, Florida, on Wednesday and Thursday, April 7 - 8, 2010, beginning at 9:00 AM. The presentations to industry will provide a thorough review of the planned acquisition strategy for this effort, along with providing insight into the individual services required from industry. Draft RFPs for SITEC will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov ) beginning in March 2010. Contractors must register to attend this event. Due to space limitations, attendance is limited to 4 individuals per company. Please send the complete list of the names of individuals that will be attending, to daumj@socom.mil. USSOCOM has "blocked" 100 rooms for this event.
