The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to issue a solicitation for Audiovisual Technical Support services at all EPA facilities located in the Research Triangle Park, NC. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide such services. The contractor shall provide audiovisual assistance and support as requested or required by the project officer for meeting within the EPA-RTP facilities and any other locations within a 50 mile radius where the EPA is conducting official business. Typical tasks shall include: Delivering, setting up, operating and maintaining government audiovisual equipment and arranging for equipment rental, pickup and return of rental equipment at customers request; providing technical assistance in resolving audiovisual problems during meetings, conferences and events; setting up audiovisual equipment, transcribing conferences and meetings using audio and visual reproduction capabilities; photograph and transcribe events; duplicate various types of media and perform preventative and routing maintenance on equipment. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and shall participate fully in the agencys Environmental Management System (EMS). The RFP will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561499, All other business support services with a small business size standard of $7 million. For informational purposes this contract is a follow on to contract number EP-D-05-098 with Integrated Solutions and Services, Incorporated. Award of a firm fixed price contract with one twelve (12) month base and four (4) twelve month option periods is anticipated. The total duration of the proposed contract is sixty (60) months. The resultant contract will be awarded in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Offerors will be asked to submit technical and cost proposals for the contract, as well as relevant past performance information. For this solicitation, all factors, other than cost or price, when combined are more important than cost or price. The anticipated issuance date of the RFP will be on or about March 5, 2010. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the RFP issuance date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. No further synopsis will be issued. A pre proposal conference/site visit will be held approximately seven to ten days after the issuance of the RFP. The details of the pre proposal conference/site visit will be listed in the RFP. The solicitation and amendments will be available at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. It will be the offeror's responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
