II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Framework
agreement for the purchase of individual short term/rehabilitation
treatments in the Mediterranean area. 1 service provider.
Users have previously been given an offer from the municipality of Oslo
for a stay in Spain after a decision has been made for short term or
rehabilitation treatment. In 2008 there were approx. 30 decisions for 3-4
weeks of treatment in Spain. It is assumed that this is a foreseeable
volume for the contract, but the service provider will run the risk of the
volume being different. As the volume is low, it is assumed that the
health and welfare service shall be run independently of the municipality
of Oslo's volume.
Estimated value of the contract: 1 680 000 NOK - 6 720 000 NOK.
Duration of contract: 2 years with an option for the contracting authority
to extend the contract for a further 1 + 1 year on unchanged terms.

individual purchases of short term/rehabilitiation treatments under the
framework agreement: It is the individual user's choice of place which
initiates each purchase, see point 1.4 in the specifications.
