Individual service contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/129667/C/SER/EG.
2. Procedure: Restricted.
3. Programme: ENPI.
4. Financing: Financing agreement ENPI/2008/019-607.
5. Contracting authority: European Union, represented by the European
Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary country,
Cairo, EGYPT.
6. Nature of contract: Fee-based.
7. Contract description: Technical assistance to assist the PMU and the
beneficiary in the implementation of the project in coordinating the
different programme components. The programme consists of 4 components:
human rights, women's rights, children's rights and environmental rights
with a cross-cutting activity related to the sub grants for each of the 4
components administrated directly by the beneficiary.
8. Indicative budget: 1 000 000 EUR.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: April 2010.
10. Additional information: A parallel EU-funded programme entitled:
'support to political development and good governance' will be implemented
during the same timeframe as the current financing agreement.
The TA will therefore ensure the monitoring of this other financing
agreement as well.
11. Legal basis: Regulation (EC) No 1638/2006 of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 24.10.2006 laying down general provisions
establishing a European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument.
