II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Leicestershire
Constabulary seeks a new custody and case preparation system. The system
must be compliant with PACE and the Manual of Guidance The system must
have proven production links to the CPS (Compass) and Courts, PNC,
Livescan, VPFPO and PENTIP. The system must be based on a single
integrated relational database and have the capability to be extended to
cover crime, intelligence, property and general incident management. The
system must be compatible with mobile data solutions.This contract is for
5 years plus 5 x 12 months and should be open for all UK Police
ForcesInterested parties should register with Bluelight at
www.bluelight.gov.uk which is the Forces e-tendering system.
