THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY-PINE CREEK STRUCTURE DECOMMISSIONING. GIFFORD PINCHOT NF, SKAMANIA COUNTY, WASHINGTON. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0280 on or about March 15, 2010, for the RECOVERY Pine Creek Structure Decommissioning. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after March 15, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for Pine Creek Structure Decommissioning. This contract is to demolition and removal of ten housing or utility buildings on the Pine Creek Work Center compound. Additional work includes the removal of utility lines, connections, and distribution systems for water, sewer, gas (propane), electricity, and telecom. Proper disposal of used material is to be included as part of this contract. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: Pine Creek Structure Decommissioning. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION � The location of the worksite from Interstate 5, take exit 21 for Highway 503 toward Woodland/Cougar. Turn right heading East on Lewis River Rd/Highway 503 for approximately 32 miles. Continue on to Road/Highway 90 for approximately 15 miles to Pine Creek Work Center located on the left hand side. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238910. The size standard is $14.0 Million. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
