ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS!

The University of South Florida (USF)Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), are bringing local, federal and state government agencies and major corporations together to network, educate, counsel and ultimately, contract, with small business firms. Are you looking for a great opportunity to meet with buyers from the federal, state, local government as well as major corporations? If you are a small business, ready, willing, and able to provide products and services needed, this conference is for you!

This Two-Day Conference takes place May 5th & 6th 2010 at the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa FL. Did you know that 99% of all employment in the U.S. today and nearly 50% of the Gross National Product are generated by small business? Those statistics are why the USF Small Business Development Center, in partnership with the Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center, are bringing local, federal and state governmental agencies and major corporations together to network, educate, counsel and ultimately, contract with small business firms.

Partnering for Success: Create your Own Economic Stimulus

The Small Business Trade Conference opens May 5th and includes a day crammed with informative sessions. We will help you arm your business with critical information ensuring greater success.

Contracts: Here and Now

On Thursday, May 6th, we offer opportunities to develop and build strategic supplier relationships. Representatives from all layers of governmental agencies will be on hand to speak with attendees. Large corporations looking for qualified small businesses will also be available to speak about partnerships and business opportunities.

Matchmaking:

On Thursday, May 6th, we will once again be offering Matchmaking sessions, co-sponsored by the SBA. Small businesses will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with various government agencies and large corporations. Space is limited, and is on a first come, first serve basis.
