NOTICE OF ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF PROCUREMENT


Please be informed that the Department of Public Works and Highways, through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), Tarlac Sub-District Engineering Office, NIA Compound, Jefmin, Concpecion, Tarlac, shall be undertaking thru NEGOTIATED PROCUREMENT, duly approved by the Hon. Secretary (copy hereto attached), pursuant to Section 53(b) of the IRR of R.A. 9184, series of 2009, wherein "the Procuring Entity directly negotiates a contract with a technical, legally and financially capable supplier, contractor or consultant in case of imminent danger to life and property during a state of calamity, or when time is of the essence arising from natural or man-made calamities or other causes where immediate action is necessary to prevent damage to or loss of life and property, or to restore vital public services, infrastructure facilities and other public utilities".
