This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Specifications for Brush Shredder Attachment for Excavator at Tionesta Lake

Brush shredder attachment shall be designed for use on a Bobcat Model 430 excavator. Brush shredder shall be furnished complete with all necessary parts and hardware for a complete installation on boom of a Bobcat Model 430 excavator. Brush shredder shall be of horizontal shaft configuration and shall be designed to safely cut and mulch small trees, grass and brush while mounted to boom of excavator. Vertical shaft or rotary mower devices will not be acceptable. Brush shredder shall be hydraulically operated and shall include sufficient hose length for mounting to the excavator. Brush shredder shall be designed to mount onto boom in place of a bucket with a universal 1 inch bolt-on adjustable excavator bucket style mount. Brush shredder shall be of welded steel unitized structure, equipped with reversible spiral-mounted high alloy J knives, replaceable hardened skid shoes and wire proof hardened cutter shaft protectors. Brush shredder shall have a minimum working width of 30-inches and a maximum vegetation capacity of 4-inches diameter with a maximum weight of 550 pounds. Brush shredder shall be similar or equal to RockHound Brush-Hound Model 30EX, as manufactured by RockHound Attachments, PO Box 220, 2507 Tully Rd., Hughson, CA 95326; Tel 800-426-5615.

Provide manufacturer, make and model of attachment you are quoting. SPECIFICATIONS shall be submitted for all proposed items, other than the RockHound Brush-Hound Model 30EX, in order to enable accurate comparison.

Manufacturers standard warranty on materials and workmanship shall be included.

Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of order, EXCLUDING Federal Holidays.
