This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912P6-10-Q-0014 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-23. The Government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible offeror who submits the lowest aggregate price to perform the services set-forth in the Scope of Work. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423810 a size standard of 100 employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The provisions at 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract terms and conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following clauses listed in 52.212-5(b) and (c) are included by reference: 5.222-21; 52.222-22; 52.222-23; 52.222-41; 52.225.3; and 52.232-34; 52.232-16. The contractor is required to provide the services delineated in the Scope of Work CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE, which requires a Rental Contract for a Caterpillar Model 973C Track Loader to be delivered to and picked up at Calumet Harbor, Chicago, IL at the Chicago District Disposal Facility (CDF). REQUIRED SERVICES: The contractor will be responsible with supplying a 7 YARD bucket, capable of handling heavy debris, large stones, and roadway materials, with rocks over one ton, as well as reinforced concrete road debris. The loader will also be supplied with a Quick Coupler and Fork Set, used to move 11 ton concrete blocks at the CDF.
