This is a notice of intent to award a three-month extension for the Environmental Support Contract II (ESC II), F08650-03-D-0006 at Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL. 45 CONS/LGCAB will extend the period of performance from 31 March 2010 to 30 June 2010. The government intends to make award to the incumbent contractor, SpecPro Inc. in accordance with the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA), 10 U.S.C. 2304
(d)(1)(B), and FAR 6.302-1(a) (2)(iii). Services are deemed available only from the original source. To award to another source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government which would not be recovered through competition and also would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
