VI.1) CONTRACT RELATED TO A PROJECT AND/OR PROGRAMME FINANCED BY

VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: It has been decided not to award the
contract and to cancel the procedure pursuant to point 11 of the
invitation letter ('This invitation to tender is in no way binding on
Frontex. Frontex's contractual obligations commence only upon signature of
the contract with the successful tenderer. Up to the point of signature,
Frontex may either abandon the procurement or cancel the award procedure,
without the candidates or tenderers being entitled to claim any
compensation. The decision must be substantiated and the tenderers
notified.') The decision to cancel is substantiated in the following
paragraph.
The requirements related to the facility security clearances (FSC) were
found to be too restrictive and the Committee recommends the requirements
to be re-drafted. Frontex will re-draft requirements related to the FSC
and the tender procedure will be re-launched as soon as possible.
