Individual supply contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/129639/C/SUP/AL.
2. Procedure: Open.
3. Programme: IPA 2008 national programme for Albania.
4. Financing: 22.02.02 transition and institution-building assistance to
potential candidate countries.
5. Contracting authority: The European Union, represented by the European
Commission, itself represented in view of the present tender procedure by
the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, for and on behalf of the
Government of Albania, Tirana, ALBANIA.
6. Contract description: The present contract aims at supplying the
Albanian authorities with logistical support to strengthen the capacity of
the Albanian Customs Administration Maritime Anti-Smuggling Unit and
Customs Zone to apply and enforce the monitoring, controlling and
surveillance system in Albania, in line with EU legislation.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: 1 lot:
supply, delivery, and commissioning of a motorboat (vessel) for the
maritime anti-smuggling structure with a sailing capacity between 6 and 8
hours and average sailing speed of 40 sea knots. Equipped with propulsive
system and navigation devices.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: April 2010.

10. Legal basis: Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 17.7.2006
establishing an instrument for pre-accession assistance (IPA) — OJ L 210
of 31.7.2006.
