Council has appointed organisations to deliver and manage repair and
maintenance for its housing stock in the South of the city and for city
wide gas installations, servicing and maintenance. The scope of the
housing repair and maintenance service will include all routine repairs
and some planned maintenance works. There are also 3 gas contracts (North,
South and Central) and the scope of these will include providing an annual
gas service to all appliances in the 59 000 properties. The contract all
requires a full service and to carry out all repairs and supplying parts.
