The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood intends to award a sole source purchase order to Strategic Operations, 4705 Ruffin Road, San Diego, CA 92123-1611for the following items: 2 each amputee role-players to include 120 each Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) simulators, 60 each Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPG) simulators, 9 each suicide vest simulators, and 6 each Opposing Forces (OPFOR) vehicles. This acquisition is conducted under the provision of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 611710 with a small business size standard of $7.0. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 4 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. All responses must be provided no later than 1700 CST 15 February 2010. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
