RECOVERY Replace and repair existing cattleguards. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The work consists of furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for specified Government furnished property, to clean, reconstruct and install new cattleguards. Work to include excavating pit, installing new foundations , grids and wings, and/or cleaning out pit and reinstalling existing grids and wings. Project price range is between $25,000 to $100,000. NAICS: 238910. The project areas are located in Malheur and Baker Counties, Vale District, Oregon, as far North as the Baker area, as far South as the McDermitt area, from Vale on the East, to Juntura area on the West. Estimated start work date is April 15, 2010, and performance time is 90 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: None; Performance Bond: 20%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is February 25, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
