Individual supply contract forecast
1. Publication reference: EuropeAid/129568/C/AL.
2. Procedure: Open.
3. Programme: IPA 2008 national programme for Albania.
4. Financing: 22.02.02 transition and institution-building assistance to
potential candidate countries.
5. Contracting authority: The European Union, represented by the European
Commission, itself represented in view of the present tender procedure by
the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, for and on behalf of the
Government of Albania, Tirana, ALBANIA.
6. Contract description: The present contract aims at supplying the
Albanian authorities with equipment to strengthen the capacity of fishery
inspection services to apply and enforce the monitoring, controlling and
surveillance system in Albania, in line with EU legislation.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: 2 lots.
1) ICT equipment for the establishment of the satellite-based vessel
monitoring system including electronic localisation devices to be
installed on fishing boats.
2) Equipment for the fishery inspection service.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: August 2010.

10. Legal basis: Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 17.7.2006
