EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST P09-25 FOR THE SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF LAND IN DOWNTOWN
FREDERICTON
203, 209, 211 QUEEN STREET


Sealed Expressions of Interest marked "EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST P09-25 FOR THE
SALE AND
DEVELOPMENT OF LAND IN DOWNTOWN FREDERICTON 203, 209, 211 QUEEN STREET", will be
received
by the Asset Management Division, City Hall, 3rd Floor, 397 Queen Street,
Fredericton, NB
E3B 1B5 until 3:00 pm local time, April 6, 2010. The name of the bidding firm
shall also
be indicated on the envelope. Public opening of the Bids will follow immediately
in the
Asset Management office 3rd floor, City Hall. Only the names of bidders will be
read out
at the opening.

The City of Fredericton is accepting expressions of interest for the sale and development
of lands in Fredericton's City Centre. The properties are located at 203, 209,
and 211
Queen Street and are presently owned by the Municipality. A mix of uses are
permitted and
encouraged in the City centre. The development should also include adequate
parking to
accommodate the needs of the project. The City is selling these properties
together to
facilitate a single development that may or may not be phased. The property has
a total
lot area of approximately 9,500 square metres (2.3 acres) available. The property
has 80
metres of street frontage on Queen Street with a view of the Saint John River.

The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
