this assignment is to provide a suite of appropriate support to regional
SME’s in accessing European Research, Development and Innovation funding
(in particular FP7), Technology Strategy Board (TSB) funding and other
innovation related funding (e.g Carbon Trust).
Providing support to business to access european research and development
funding (particularly framework programmes), TSB and innovation funding is
critical if we are to take advantage of the significant amounts of funding
available and leverage a good proportion into the region in comparison to
other regions and countries. It is also important for businesses in terms
of new market opportunities that are gained through working with new
supply chain partners.
Note contract value stated is full 3 years if the option is exercised.
