NOTICE: ALL TECHNICAL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS RFQ SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO MR. VIACHESLAV ROMANOV AT 412-386-5476, email Viacheslav.Romanov@netl.doe.gov. It is the National Energy Technical Laboratory?s (NETL) intent to award a purchase order on a sole source basis from Chandler Engineering Company, L.L.C., Broken Arrow, OK to purchase a Q6110-SS-A-DS-S Single Cylinder Pump needed for the laboratory located at NETL?s Pittsburgh, PA site. This is considered a sole source to Chandler Engineering because this purchase of the pump is an extension of an existing dual-cylinder pump purchased from Chandler Engineering Company, L.L.C. For the purposes of the experiment design, these pumps will have to be synchronized in various operational modes supported by the existing (installed) hardware and software from the same manufacturer. This requires absolute compatibility of the parts (volume, speed, CN6000 controller settings, data cables, and the installed software options) of the entire pump system for proper operation of the viscometer according to standard operating procedure (PA 0568). Compatibility must be maintained, so no substitution of parts is possible. The part to be ordered is:1. 1 each - The Q6110 a high flow, large volume single cylinder pump, capable of operating in independent flow or pressure modes. The pump system uses air-actuated automatic valves:Includes:1 each 6010 SST pump module with motor driver1 each CN6000 pump controller1 each 10,000 psi transducer1 each set roller feet1 each Spare parts kit (piston seal and rupture disc)Associated plumbing with ?? No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Challenges must demonstrate the capability to provide all of the above listed specifications for the item(s) being requested (software licenses and accompany support service). If no challenges to acquire this (these) item(s) are received by 5:30 PM ET on February 5, 2010, the government reserves the right to execute an award without publishing a solicitation.
