SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

Contract for the supply of combined street litter, dry recyclables and
cigarette butt bins.

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The contracting
authority wishes to purchase street litter bins with separate compartments
for residual street litter, dry recyclables (including newspapers,
magazines, glass bottles, cans and plastic bottles) and cigarette butts.
The contracting authority also wishes to purchase spare parts for the
street litter bins and ground fixing equipment.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The value of the contract depends on the
number of Bins ordered by the contracting authority during the contract
period. This is estimated to be between 250 000 GBP and 600 000 GBP.
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 250 000 and 600 000 GBP.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Starting:

III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT
III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees required: A parent company guarantee may
be required if the economic operator is part of a group.

made in accordance with the payment provisions set out in the tender

ordering between 1000 and 2000 street litter bins over the three year
contract period but does not warrant, guarantee or give any undertaking in
relation to the number of street litter bins over 1000 units that will be
ordered.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1.5.2010.
