1. The Kyrgyz Republic has received the funds from the International Development Association toward the cost of, Energy Emergency Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this funds to payments under the Contract for procurement of; Lot#1 - Boilers' feed-water economizers, II st.and Lot#2- Boilers' steam superheater, I st
2. The JSC “Electric Power Plants” now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply of Lot#1 - Boilers' feed-water economizers, II st. and Lot#2- Boilers' steam superheater, I st., for Bishkek CHPP to the following address: 2, Chuy avenue, Bishkek.
The bidders may bid for any or more lots under this bidding process. Each lot shall be evaluated separately and the contract award will be made on lot by lot basis.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Foreign affairs and project implementation unit of JSC “Electric Power Plants” and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below:

Working ours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Thursday), 08:00 – 15:45 (Friday), 12:00 – 12:45 (lunch), Saturday and Sunday (days off).

A complete set of Bidding Documents in Russian or English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address above and upon payment of a non refundable fee USD 150. The method of payment will be direct deposit to specific account number.

5. Qualifications requirements include:
(a) Experience and Technical Capacity:
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s):
At least 2 successfully executed contracts for the supply of similar goods as main supplier during the last 3 years;
Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
6. Upon request a complete set of Bidding Documents in English or Russian languages will be send to the interested bidders by airmail or surface mail.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 14:00 a.m. Bishkek time February 19, 2010. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the following address: 326, Jibek Jolu avenue, Bishkek, JSC “Electric Power Plants”, Floor 5, Room 525 at 14:00 a.m. Bishkek time February 19, 2010.
8. All bids must include “Bid Securing Declaration”
