The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis for full and open competition for HAZMAT personal protection equipment (PPE). The item listing includes DuPont-brand Tychem apparel; Scott-brand self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA) and accessories; Ludlum-brand radiation monitoring meters and accessories; gas monitors/sensors; decontamination equipment; and magnetic tanker tourniquets and hot zone flashlights. The contractor shall follow specific requirements in accordance with (IAW) the performance work statement (PWS).

The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform the work in accordance with the PWS. The solicitation, FA2517-10-T-6029, will be available on or about 29 January 2010.
