II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTRACT OR PURCHASE(S): The supply of one
or more equipment categories that may potentially be tendered in 2010 that
relate to airport operations and development at one or more of BAA
Airports Limited sites (Heathrow, Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow,
Edinburgh, Aberdeen) either in direct contract to BAA or via a principal
contractor (Complex Build Integrator or Commodity Build Integrator).
Furthermore, BAA may tender for this equipment in conjuction with other
third parties. Please refer to separate document titled "2010 hardware
procurement plan" which can be downloaded from www.airportsmart.com > View

SECTION IV: PROCEDURE AND ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION

VI.1) CONTRACTS RELATED TO A PROJECT AND/OR PROGRAMME FINANCED BY EU
FUNDS: No.
VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In the case of BAA tendering directly for
categories, Contract Notices stating the details of each upcoming tender
will be placed on the website www.airportsmart.com from time-to-time
during 2010. To maximise their chances of receiving these Contract Notices

In the case of third parties tendering on behalf of BAA then interested
suppliers will be encouraged to respond direct to these integrators. BAA
will support this engagement.
In both cases interested parties need to register on AirportSmart by going
to www.airportsmart.com > View Contract Notices > Contract Notices and
then click on the title “BAA 2010 Hardware Procurement Plan”. If you are
already registered on AirportSmart then you can log in immediately. If you
have not registered on AirportSmart then please complete the registration
process by clicking on Supplier Zone > New Supplier. All parties then need
to upload a letter, in English, stating which categories they are
interested in supplying. There is neither a charge to register on
AirportSmart nor for receiving Contract Notice alerts.
