Note: Refundable Deposit of Rs. 25000/=.
Non-refundable tender form fee of Rs. 500/-.

Tenders will be received by me to lease-out the Right to Sell Meat at the places mentioned in the Schedule below. When issuing tender forms for each trade stall, a Refundable Deposit of Rs. 25000/=, minimum bid security as mentioned in the schedule and the non-refundable tender form fee of Rs. 500/-, will be charged. Except the Deposit and minimum Security amounts, other payments will be subject to VAT charges.
The tender forms and the tender conditions could be obtained up to 3.00 p.m. on 02/02/2010 on payment of the above charges and the tenders will be accepted up to 10.30 a.m. on 03/02/2010. The tenders will be opened at 11.00 a.m. the same day. The applicant or an authorized representative may attend the tender opening. 50% of the tender amount should be paid within one week of acceptance of the tender and notification to this effect and enter into agreements. The balance 50 % should be paid monthly within the first 06 months.
The tender deposit and the minimum' bid security of those who fail to submit the tenders in time after obtaining tender forms, those who quote below the minimum bid and those who fail abide by the agreement will be forfeited by the council.
Sealed tenders could either be sent under Registered post to this office or deposited in die tender box kept at the office of the Municipal Commissioner. The council reserves the right to accept or reject the tenders and further details could be obtained from the Municipal Accountant during office hours.
It is compulsory to pay the Value Added Tax and the Nation Building Tax in addition to the tender amount.
Tender forms will only be issued to those who obtained trade stalls for the year 2009, if they have paid the lease amount in full and submitted receipts.
