SYNOPSIS Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis for a 100% Small Business set aside for the following service: provide base laundry cleaning and laundry supply services on a daily schedule according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The service consists of a list of items identified in the PWS with maximum monthly quantities identified for each item. There are no minimum quantities identified in the PWS. Laundry services will be at the contractor's location, for contractor pick up and delivery to and from Peterson AFB, CO. The contract line item will be a single line item for a sum total monthly cost. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform the work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
The solicitation, FA2517-10-R-6005, will be available on or about 20 January 2010. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site http://bpn.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will also be distributed solely through this site. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) and Register to Receive Notifications. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Priced contract with a base award for seven (7) months plus seven (7) annual twelve-month option periods. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 812331 - Linen Supply, with a small business size standard of $14,000,000.

This solicitation package is amended as described within the attached SF 30 Amendment 1 document and contains attached revised documents to be used for submitting proposals. The solicitation response due date is extended to 16 February 2010. The contract to be awarded from the solicitation will begin on 1 April 2010. Further details on other changes in the solicitation are contained within the attached SF 30 Amendment 1 and the amended version of the SF 1449 solicitation document. Please note that the Performance Work Statement has also been revised.
