II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Subject to
successful completion of stock transfer (due for completion at the end of
March 2010), Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd Cyfyngedig ("the authority"), a
newly formed registered social landlord will take transfer of Gwynedd
Council's housing stock. The successful completion of this contract is
entirely subject to the successful completion of the stock transfer to the
authority.
The authority is seeking to let a 1 year contract for the provision of
insurance services. The insurance policies required cover property-related
insurance (including material damage, works in progress ("all risks"),
business interruption and all risks), public liability, employer's
liability, officials' indemnity, professional indemnity, insurance
relating to motor vehicles, insurance in relation to engineering works and
services, personal accident insurance, libel and slander insurance, money
insurance, directors' liability insurance, insurance in relation to Public
Health Act, land charges, computers and fidelity guarantees and other
insurance as required.

accordance with Article 45 of the Consolidated Directive 2004/18 and as
set out in the pre-qualification questionnaire which is available from the
address at section I.1 above.

required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire consistent with the
provisions of Directive 2004/18. The questionnaire is available from the

VI.4.2) Lodging of appeals: Precise information on deadline(s) for
lodging appeals: The authority will allow a period of at least ten
calendar days between the date it gives notice to candidates of the
decision to award the proposed agreement and the date on which it proposes
to conclude the agreement. If, by midnight at the end of the second
working day of the ten day standstill period, the authority receives a
request in writing from a candidate as to why it was unsuccessful, the
authority is required to provide additional information to the candidate.
That information must be provided at least 3 working days before the
expiry of the ten days' standstill period (though the standstill period
may be extended if it is not possible to provide the information in time).

section I.1. An aggrieved candidate who claims that it has suffered or
risked loss or damage as a result of a breach by the Authority of its
duties under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 may take proceedings in
the High Court. Any such proceedings must be brought promptly and in any
event within 3 months from the date on which grounds for bringing
proceedings first arose (the Court has a discretion to extend the period
for good reason.
