RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): W91278-09-D-0007, STANTEC/INCA JOINT VENTURE.

The purpose of this project is to:

1) Accomplish a thorough site inspection of Oakland County Red Run Drain to observe existing conditions and confirm the existence of shoaling, bank instability, and outfall.
2) Identify new areas of concern related to shoaling, bank instability, and outfall damage.
3) Evaluate the condition of outfalls along Oakland County Red Run Drain to determine which ones need immediate repairs due to undermining by slope regression. A design shall be prepared to repair those impacted outfalls. Specific methods of repair and shoreline armoring will need to be designed on an individual basis.
4) Evaluate the condition of the damaged sheetpile wall in Area 6.
5) Evaluate 25 shoaling areas as identified as identified in the September 2005 report and any subsequent areas of shoaling and determine which present significant interference to the drain flow area.
6) Evaluate seven slope areas that are experiencing localized slope instability due to long-term and rapid drawdown conditions.
